“Why?” Can be a Cruel Question
Do you ever suspect you’re being criticized with ‘why’ questions? For example, Why did you do that …? Why do you always …? Why would anyone …? Why didn’t you …? Why don’t you just …? In this workshop, you’ll discover if you are asking ‘why’ tinged with judgment and advice-giving or with warm curiosity. If other’s are doing the questioning, we’ll discuss ways to end the cycle.

Say No, Stay Connected and Enter Relational Dialogue
One aspect of “people-pleasing” behavior is that people say yes when they want to say no. Then they realize we are not in alignment with that answer and feel any number of emotions. Many people place others’ needs before their own (called “co-dependency” by some). What follows is blaming others – or engaging in other ways – to try to feel better. This workshop allows room to practice saying ‘no’ based on a key NVC principle that every NO is a YES to something.
7 Ways to Go From Reactivity to Harmony
